How to export your contacts from EZ Texting

EZ Texting made starting easy; leaving with your data is easy too. The contacts your campaigns and keywords collected export in a few clicks.

What exports from EZ Texting

Contacts and groups export to CSV with phone numbers, names, and custom fields. As of August 2026 you'll find export in the contacts area — EZ Texting's help center has the current path. Practical notes:

1. Groups become your structure. Export per group, or make sure the group name survives as a column — on the other side, groups map naturally onto tags and segments.
2. Carry the opt-outs. The people who texted STOP must stay excluded after the move. A clean export keeps their status visible; a good import honors it automatically.

What happens to your keywords

Keywords are tied to the platform's numbers, so they don't move — the list they built does. Plan one afternoon for the handover: publish your keywords on the new platform's numbers, then update signs, receipts, and QR codes. If a keyword is printed somewhere expensive (vehicle wraps, long-run packaging), time the switch so the new keyword is live before the old one goes dark.
