Ask for the review while the customer is still happy

The best moment to ask for a review is the hour after the job is done — and it is the moment nobody asks. Review requests go out by text when you mark a job done, with your Google link — and a contact you have flagged with an open complaint is never asked.

— Sound familiar? —

Why your best customers never review you

Nobody asks

The tech packs up, the customer says thanks, and the moment passes.

The ask comes too late

A request a week later lands when the glow has gone and the inbox is full.

The wrong people get asked

A request to a customer with an open issue is the one-star review you did not need.

Reviews are not a marketing project. They are one well-timed text.

How a review request runs

Timed to the job, worded by you, skipped when you say so.

  1. 1
    You

    Job done

You mark the water-heater install done in the afternoon.

  2. 2
    AutoCampaign

    Checked

The contact carries no open-issue tag, so the request is cleared to send.

  3. 3
    AutoCampaign

    Sent

A thank-you text with your Google review link, in your voice, that evening.

  4. 4
    Customer

    Reviewed

The customer taps the link and leaves five words and five stars.

  5. 5
    Customer

    Or replied

“Actually the old unit is still outside” — the reply lands in your inbox, flagged.

  6. 6
    You

    Resolved

You sort it, and the request can go out again once the issue is closed.

What review management covers

  • Timed to the job

The request goes out when you mark the job done, not when someone remembers.

  • Your link, your words

Google or any review destination, with a message in your voice.

  • Skipped when you say so

Tag a contact with an open issue and the request waits until you clear it.

  • Replies caught

A reply instead of a review becomes a conversation in your inbox.

What it is built on

Workflows

Triggered by the job

Marking a job done starts the request sequence, with the skip rules you set. See workflows.

Smart Links

Know who clicked

Trackable review links, so you know who opened the request and clicked through. See smart links.

Customer Employee

Replies become conversations

A reply to the request is answered — and a complaint is flagged to a person. See the Customer Employee.

Asked well, asked once

A review request is a message to your happiest customers — treat it that way.

One request per job
Nobody is asked twice for the same job; a reminder goes only if you choose.
Skips you define
Tag a contact with an open complaint, a repeat fault or a late job and the request waits until you clear it.
Consent and timing
Opted-in customers only, inside quiet hours, STOP honoured.

Frequently asked questions

Which review sites does it support?

Any destination with a link — Google is the usual one. You paste your review link once and every request carries it.

Will it ask a customer who is unhappy?

Not if you tell it. Tag a contact with an open issue and the request waits until you clear the tag; nothing is sent to someone you have flagged.

Can it ask for the review by email too?

Yes. Text is the default because it is read within minutes; an email follow-up can go to anyone who did not click.

How does it know the job is done?

You mark it done in AutoCampaign, or connect your job software so a completed job triggers the request. Works alongside the tools you use to run jobs.
